1. Introduction

Debt Resolver by Spades Enterprises (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate Debt Resolver:

• Email address — used for authentication only, required to log in.
• Display name — optional, provided by you for personalization.
• Creditor names — user-entered labels you use to identify your debts.
• Debt balances, APRs, minimum payments, and payment due days — user-entered planning data used to calculate your payoff schedule.
• Payment history — user-entered actuals from your monthly check-ins, used to track your progress.
• Feedback submissions — the description, page URL, and any optional screenshot attachment you choose to include. Note that screenshots may contain financial information that was visible on your screen at the time of capture.
• Login activity — timestamps of sign-ins, used for account security and usage analytics.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We deliberately do not collect:

• Full legal name
• Physical address
• Phone number
• Social Security Number or government ID
• Bank account or routing numbers
• Credit card numbers
• Lender credentials or login details
• Date of birth
• Employment or income information

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core service — debt payoff calculations and projections.
• To authenticate your account and maintain your session.
• To respond to feedback and support requests.
• To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your information to third parties, including lenders.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate Debt Resolver:

• Supabase — authentication, database hosting, and file storage (feedback attachments).
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — transactional email (feedback notifications, account-related emails).
• Stripe — payment processing for Plus subscriptions. Stripe does not share your full payment card details with us.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Security

Debt Resolver is served over HTTPS and uses Supabase Row Level Security, server-side authorization checks, and ownership-based access controls to protect your data. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

• You may update your profile information at any time.
• You may delete your account and all associated data permanently from your profile page — this action is irreversible.
• You may contact us at feedback@debtresolver.app with questions about your data.

9. Children's Privacy

Debt Resolver is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.

12. Our Trust Statement

We only know your email address. Everything else you enter is your own financial planning data — estimates and records you provide manually. We do not sell your data, share it with lenders, or use it for advertising.
